Description

LocationLink is the premier online resource for location scouts. LocationLink primarily serves the Hollywood film industry but also services any type of special events.

The LocationLink project came to X3 as a project in distress. Previously, LocationLink had struggled to manage the volume of information and relied primarily on spreadsheets and paper binders to do business. LocationLink had originally approached another consulting firm to build an online repository and management system for the thousands of site locations it had in its portfolio. The project had gone drastically over budget and off schedule.

X3 first had to undo the damage that had been done by the previous firm. Taking over a project in distress usually means cleaning up someone else's mess. However, X3 was able to quickly come up to speed and put out multiple fires without missing a beat

After the initial crisis, X3 was able to properly design a content management system and custom functionality to allow LocationLink to easily inventory their properties and also allow their customer to easily search, filter, and view the details of each property including an online image gallery and availability schedule.

The new website was an immediate hit with local Hollywood executives. The is a groundbreaking achievement within the location scout industry and it left LocationLink's competitors scrambling to catch up. LocationLink estimated that the new website may have increased their market by as much as 150%!
